Starting Salary: $65,000 (Negotiable based on experience)

Job Description:

HHS is seeking a Registered Dietitian for Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for completing nutritional assessments for residents, developing care plans with nutritional goals, and providing education to various staff and residents. Your role will involve reviewing and approving resident daily menus, supplements, and snack programs, as well as collaborating with physicians and clinical staff to monitor nutritional status.

You will also attend resident rounds and nutrition meetings, ensuring compliance with clinical nutrition policies and regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct complete nutritional assessments for all residents and create individualized care plans.
  • Provide education to residents, families, nursing, and food service staff on special diets and dining needs.
  • Document assessments, goals, and interventions in the medical record.
  • Approve resident daily menus, snacks, and supplement programs.
  • Communicate with physicians and clinical staff about nutritional status and needs.
  • Attend resident rounds and nutrition meetings, maintaining clinical nutrition policies for regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

  • Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration and state licensure as required.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food and Nutrition or a related field.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards.
  • Proficiency in computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and various software.
