Summary:

The Occupational Health Specialist will oversee regional and global health initiatives, managing cases related to injuries, psychosocial, ergonomic, and public health risks. This role involves process design, case management, and acting as an escalation point for complex or high-risk cases. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders, vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance. Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, supporting health promotion activities, and leading global health and safety projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Support occupational case management operations (injuries, occupational injuries, psychosocial, and ergonomic cases).
  • Assist in building the program and addressing regional needs during project phases.
  • Design case management processes and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Act as escalation point for tier 3 and above cases.
  • Manage stakeholder relations for case management and regulatory reporting.
  • Liaise with Occupational Health vendors for case management and escalations, especially high-risk cases.
  • Conduct psychosocial risk assessments and serve as regional point of contact (POC) for escalations.
  • Prepare for program roll-out and manage regional stakeholder engagement.
  • Lead ergonomic program risk assessments and escalate issues as the regional POC.
  • Support public health threats (communicable illness, geopolitical risks) in case management and response.
  • Develop regional health promotion activities based on business needs and data.
  • Provide regional regulatory review and guidance within the tech sector.
  • Lead/support global occupational health risk management projects in regional operations.
  • Drive process improvements and simplification initiatives.
  • Oversee escalation and risk management for regional occupational health issues.
  • Collaborate with operations, workplace services, and global risk teams on health and safety initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Occupational Health (OH) or Public Health (PH) practitioner with experience in corporate or start-up environments.
  • Expertise in managing complex, high-risk cases and in occupational health regulations and risk management.
  • Strong experience in health emergency preparedness, communicable illness response, and pandemic management.
  • Proven project and process change management skills with a focus on key milestones.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, regulatory reporting, and vendor liaison.
  • Proficient in case management systems, risk assessment tools, and program management software.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage priorities and adapt in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
