Role Summary:
Join AstraZeneca’s Global Business Services as a Local Case Intake Advisor, where you’ll be responsible for handling and reporting individual case safety reports (ICSRs) at the local level. You will work closely with local Marketing Companies, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory requirements, while playing a vital role in patient safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage intake, triage, and processing of ICSRs from clinical trials and post-marketing sources.

  • Communicate with Health Authorities regarding ICSR queries.

  • Support implementation of the Quality Management System.

  • Maintain procedural documents, training logs, and audit readiness.

  • Collaborate on PV aspects of Organized Data Collection Programs, digital activities, and third-party partnerships.

  • Provide pharmacovigilance expertise within the local Marketing Company.

  • Support local projects and issue resolution for key products.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

  • Degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or Life Sciences.

  • Fluency in Arabic (written and spoken).

  • Solid understanding of pharmacovigilance principles and GVP.

  • Knowledge of local health authority regulations.

  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in vendor management and cross-functional collaboration.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Medical knowledge in AstraZeneca's therapeutic areas.

  • Project management skills and prior participation in global initiatives.

  • Experience with audits and inspections.

  • Ability to influence and resolve conflicts effectively.

Work Mode:

  • In-office work expected at least 3 days a week, with flexibility based on role and team needs.
