Job Description:
As an experienced Health Economics and Market Access (HEOR) expert, you will play a critical role in leading strategy development and submissions to organizations such as NICE, SMC, NCPE, HAS, and G-BA. You will advise pharma and biotech clients, lead project teams, and contribute to building EVERSANA's HEOR and market access operations in Europe. You’ll be involved in scientific selling, project management, and supporting a 150-person strong Canadian team with expertise in systematic reviews, ITCs, global economic models, and medical writing.

We are looking for a leader who can inspire teams, manage multiple projects, and help expand EVERSANA's influence across the European market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead scientific selling efforts to bring new work to existing and new clients.
  • Lead project teams and provide expert advice to clients on market access and health economics strategies.
  • Manage proposal development, ensuring alignment with client needs.
  • Delegate tasks and supervise junior staff and contractors, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Oversee projects with minimal guidance from senior management.
  • Proactively manage project scope, resolving challenges, and devising contingency plans.
  • Contribute to best practices, employee management, and training initiatives.
  • Participate in business strategy discussions, including staffing, workload, and company direction.
  • Lead revenue-generating activities, with a target of $1M–$3M in revenue.
  • Mentor and support new and junior staff, helping them grow and contribute to the team's success.
  • Attend management meetings to discuss proposals, projects, staffing, and other operational matters.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance project efficiency.

Qualifications:

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • MSc or PhD in a medical or mathematical field (e.g., biology, epidemiology, pharmacology, health economics, statistics).
  • 8+ years of experience in health research, health economics, or related fields, preferably in a consulting environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to build and mentor teams.
  • Ability to maintain strong relationships with clients and deliver high-quality services.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in business development and proposal creation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with programming software (e.g., VBA, EndNote) or statistical packages is an asset.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in high-pressure environments.
  • Knowledge of current trends in health economics, statistics, and evidence synthesis.
