Job Overview

Sanofi is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Specialist – Medical Affairs (Event Logistics) to support the planning and execution of medical and scientific events across global business units. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences event management who can manage complex logistics while ensuring strict compliance with internal policies and global regulations.

As part of the Sanofi Global Hub, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, compliant medical events that support Sanofi’s growing portfolio across immunology, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and transplant-related care.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage medical and scientific events using a structured project management approach, from initiation through closure

  • Organize and lead event kick-off meetings, regular coordination calls, execution, and post-event close-out

  • Partner with internal stakeholders, including Medical Affairs teams, event engagement teams, logistics agencies, and hospitality partners

  • Coordinate logistics for advisory boards, investigator meetings, speaker trainings, scientific education programs, masterclasses, and internal meetings

  • Provide expert guidance on site selection, vendor management, and event execution to ensure optimal attendee experience

  • Ensure full compliance with Sanofi policies, transparency requirements, and regulatory standards

  • Oversee on-site event management and provide technical support for hybrid and virtual meetings

  • Create, manage, and track events using the Sanofi Events & Congresses digital platforms

  • Handle attendee registration, data management, travel coordination, accommodation, audiovisual requirements, and catering

  • Track KPIs, metrics, and budgets to support cost efficiency and continuous improvement


Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, management, or a related field

  • 18 months to 3 years of relevant experience in event planning, preferably within pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or life sciences

  • Proven exposure to Medical Affairs or scientific event logistics

  • Strong command of written and spoken English

  • Proficiency in MS Office and digital event management tools

  • Experience working with cross-functional and multicultural global teams
