Role Overview

The Project Specialist provides administrative and operational support to Project Leads, ensuring that project objectives, deliverables, and contractual expectations are met efficiently. This role is key to maintaining project governance, timelines, and team coordination for clinical research initiatives.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled in project coordination within highly regulated environments, supporting teams in delivering high-quality outcomes to clients globally.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to Project Leads, ensuring timely execution of project tasks and deliverables.

  • Assist in tracking project timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.

  • Coordinate communication between cross-functional teams including Clinical Operations, Data Management, and Vendor Management.

  • Maintain project documentation in alignment with GxP/GCP standards and internal SOPs.

  • Support budget tracking, reporting, and escalation of risks or deviations to Project Leads.

  • Participate in project meetings, preparing agendas, minutes, and follow-up action items.

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and data quality.


Required Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in project coordination or project support within clinical research, pharmaceutical, or life sciences environments.

  • Knowledge of clinical trial processes, project management tools, and regulatory compliance.

  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project tracking software.

  • Ability to work remotely with global teams, managing priorities and deadlines effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to functional service provider (FSP) or full-service clinical operations models.

  • Basic understanding of contracts, budgeting, or vendor management in clinical projects.

  • Familiarity with clinical data, EDC, or pharmacovigilance processes.
