Job Description

The Project Manager, Data Science will lead technology programs within EVERSANA’s Data and Analytics business unit, ensuring project efficiency, strategic alignment, and optimal resource management. The role involves cross-functional collaboration to manage workflows, finances, and project timelines while engaging with senior executives and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Align analytics strategies with business, clinical, and technology stakeholders.
  • Manage intake and prioritization of initiatives and client requests.
  • Drive project delivery using Agile and traditional project management methodologies.
  • Oversee financial control, risk management, and resource utilization.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute projects that deliver business value.
  • Prepare program-level reporting and track cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Engage with stakeholders to track and measure business benefits.
  • Contribute to PMO activities and refine project management best practices.
  • Promote the adoption of Agile principles within the organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Complexity & Work Environment

  • Work on diverse, complex challenges requiring a mix of technical expertise, business strategy, and industry insights.
  • Make strategic decisions based on business imperatives, digital strategy, and financial analysis.
  • Operate in a fast-paced environment where critical thinking and teamwork are essential.
  • Travel up to 10% based on business needs.
  • Standard workweek of 40 hours, Monday-Friday.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of project/program management experience in a global organization.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics and modeling, preferably in healthcare or life sciences.
  • Experience with Agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Strong background in managing large-scale, cross-functional projects.
  • Expertise in tools like Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Excel, and SQL.

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in business administration or a related field.
  • PMP Certification or willingness to pursue certification.
  • Agile certification.
  • Experience with healthcare claims data, BI tools (Tableau, Power BI), and real-world data sources (EHR, RWD, etc.).
