Position Overview: Project Coordinator (Hybrid Role)

Indegene is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support end-to-end management of medical and scientific content development across multidisciplinary teams. This hybrid role requires 2–3 days per week onsite in Indianapolis, IN, and offers the opportunity to collaborate with business units, medical affairs, and project management teams to drive operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Coordination

  • Collaborate with business units to understand project goals, medical content needs, and strategic objectives.

  • Define, manage, and track timelines for key content milestones using Adobe Workfront.

  • Maintain accurate project data and ensure seamless synchronization across platforms such as Capacity Planner and other workflow systems.

Stakeholder Management

  • Follow up with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure speed, quality, and adherence to timelines.

  • Partner with Strategic Content Leaders, Medical Communications Project Managers, Global Medical Affairs Operations (GMAO), and business partners to oversee end-to-end content development.

  • Support transition processes from existing platforms (Wrike) to Adobe Workfront.

Quality & Process Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory) review processes.

  • Maintain high standards of documentation, copyright management, and licensing requirements.

  • Drive process compliance and ensure accurate routing of materials through platforms such as AEM, Veeva Vault, SharePoint, and related systems.


Required Qualifications & Experience

Experience

  • 4–5 years of relevant project coordination or content operations experience within life sciences, medical communications, or healthcare domains.

  • Hands-on experience with MLR review workflows and medical affairs content processes.

Skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables in fast-paced environments.

  • Working knowledge of medical affairs tactic types and approval processes.

  • Proficiency in platforms such as:

    • Adobe Workfront

    • Veeva Vault

    • AEM

    • SharePoint

    • Capacity Planner

    • Wrike (during transition phase)


Good to Have

  • Experience in copyright management and licensing workflows.

  • Familiarity with global medical operations and healthcare communication standards.
