Job Overview

Roche Services and Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator – Data Acquisition & Governance to join its Global Analytics and Technology Center of Excellence (GATE) in Chennai. This role is critical to managing data contracts, third-party agreements, vendor onboarding, and financial governance processes across global pharmaceutical operations.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in contract lifecycle management, financial coordination, procurement processes, and data governance, with proven experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences domain.

Key Responsibilities

Contract and Agreement Management

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of data contracts and Third-Party Agreements (TPAs), coordinating with Legal, Procurement, Finance, and external vendors.

  • Ensure accurate system administration and documentation to support compliant and timely contract execution.

  • Lead vendor onboarding activities, working closely with Vendor Master Data teams for approvals and system setup.

  • Validate data usage, access rights, and approved use cases to ensure regulatory and contractual compliance.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for resolving contract- and TPA-related issues efficiently.

Financial and Budget Operations

  • Maintain and update master contract and budget tracking reports, monitoring spent-to-date versus approved budgets.

  • Perform financial reconciliation, including PO validation, accrual management, and resolution of discrepancies with finance systems.

  • Support procurement activities by facilitating service contract processing and PO generation.

  • Manage Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) requests, including SMART WBS codes, change orders, and multi-split allocations.

  • Prepare detailed financial spend reports and respond to ad hoc finance and audit queries.

Data, Reporting, and Process Optimization

  • Document existing workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.

  • Conduct data assessments, gap analyses, and ad hoc data analysis to support informed decision-making.

  • Handle internal data inquiries and fulfill ad hoc data requests in a timely manner.

  • Present insights, reports, and optimization recommendations to senior stakeholders and leadership teams.


Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 4+ years of relevant professional experience as a Project Coordinator, Business Analyst, Finance Operations Analyst, or Contracts Management professional.

  • Hands-on experience managing data contracts, TPAs, and vendor agreements in a structured, compliance-driven environment.

  • Proven ability to forecast financial trends using historical data and budget metrics.

  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced, global environment.

Education and Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

  • Prior experience in Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, Biotech, or Healthcare Analytics is highly preferred.

  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and process orientation.
