Program Manager, College of Pharmacy Graduate Programs

Position Overview

The University of Cincinnati’s James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy is seeking an exceptional candidate for the role of Program Manager, Graduate Programs. This newly created position will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the college's graduate programs, including recruitment, admissions, progress monitoring, and overall program administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management and a passion for supporting students and faculty in a dynamic academic environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Program Administration: Organize and track the academic progress of students across various graduate programs.
  • Recruitment & Marketing: Lead recruitment efforts, assist in program marketing, and develop promotional materials.
  • Student & Faculty Liaison: Serve as a liaison between the graduate programs, internal departments, external entities, and community organizations.
  • Policy & Procedure Implementation: Implement and enforce policies and procedures for the graduate programs.
  • Enrollment & Retention: Collaborate with Directors and staff to meet program goals related to enrollment, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Reports & Documentation: Assist with preparing reports, newsletters, and documentation to support program goals.
  • Additional Duties: Handle readmission and advanced standing requests, and assist with other program-related duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience:
    • At least three (3) years of relevant experience in academic program management.
    • Experience managing online academic programs is preferred.
    • Experience advising and consulting students, faculty, and staff is highly considered.
  • Supervisory Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work with a diverse student population.
