About the Role:

The Professional Education Manager – Heart Recovery will be responsible for designing, executing, and evaluating educational programs aimed at healthcare professionals to support effective product usage, compliance with standards, and ongoing clinical education. The role will focus on both national and regional programs, catering to various learner levels (beginner to advanced).

You will contribute to the mission of elevating standards of care for patients with heart failure, stroke, and atrial fibrillation (AFib) through Johnson & Johnson's innovative Heart Recovery technologies.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Program Development & Execution

  • Design and implement comprehensive training programs for healthcare providers, sales teams, and internal employees.

  • Ensure programs are compliant with regulatory requirements and aligned with business objectives.

2. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with internal teams including Marketing, Sales, R&D, and Physician Program Directors.

  • Align educational content with product launches and ongoing clinical initiatives.

3. Resource & Content Management

  • Oversee creation and maintenance of training materials (e.g., presentations, manuals, videos).

  • Ensure resources are current and tailored to audience needs.

4. Program Evaluation

  • Define KPIs and implement tools to assess program effectiveness.

  • Use data and feedback to continuously improve content and delivery.

5. Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and industry guidelines.

  • Uphold the highest standards of ethics in all educational efforts.


Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required

  • Master’s degree (MBA or MBS) preferred

Experience:

  • 4+ years in sales or professional education experience within Abiomed
    OR
    7+ years in related medical device/pharma industry sales, with a proven track record of success

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and clinical data

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Excel, PowerPoint, and graphic design skills a plus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience delivering presentations and trainings to diverse audiences

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Comfort analyzing data to guide strategic improvements


Compensation & Benefits:

Base Salary Range:

$111,000.00 – $179,400.00 (commensurate with experience and location)

Incentives:

Eligible for annual performance bonus based on individual and company performance
