Job Description

Position Title: Lifecycle Safety Customer Interface Specialist


Main Responsibilities

  • Customer Relationship Management:

    • Serve as the primary interface for large and complex projects, focusing on building and maintaining customer relationships.

    • Cultivate relationships with both IQVIA's traditional customer base and new, non-traditional markets.

  • Strategic Planning and Solutions:

    • Ensure that appropriate strategies and solutions are proposed to customers.

    • Participate in the design and analysis of efficient, cost-effective, and innovative solutions that enhance customer competitiveness.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Act as a liaison between Lifecycle Safety Operations and the business development team.

    • Collaborate with operational teams to develop and refine proposals that align with customer needs.

  • Proposal Management:

    • Provide support in preparing standardized and creative proposals based on customers’ expressed requirements.

    • Follow up on submitted proposals to ensure alignment and progress.

  • Agreement Development:

    • Work closely with Lifecycle Safety Operations and project teams to define appropriate terms and conditions for safety agreements.


Minimum Required Education and Experience

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Science, or a related discipline.

  • Experience:

    • At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a Contract Research Organization (CRO) or Pharmaceutical company.

    • A minimum of 3 years of Lifecycle Safety experience (e.g., Pharmacovigilance, CEVA, Medical Information, Safety Publishing, Risk Management).

    • Equivalent combinations of education, training, or experience may be considered.


Skills and Knowledge

  • Pharmacovigilance Operations:

    • Solid understanding of Lifecycle Safety processes and operations.

  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

    • Effective communication and presentation abilities.

    • Proven capability to establish and maintain productive relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.

  • Self-Management:

    • Must be self-directed, capable of managing multiple priorities and opportunities simultaneously.

    • Strong ability to adhere to demanding timelines.
