Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Monitor drug inventory and implement quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of patient care.
Train and manage pharmacy staff, fostering a culture of excellence and compliance.
Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes, collaborating with leadership to drive improvements.
Maintain policies and procedures for drug storage, security, and patient data confidentiality.
Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory inspections and compliance audits.
What You Bring:
Pharm.D. or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
5+ years of pharmacy experience, with long-term care experience preferred.
Previous experience as a pharmacist in charge or in a management role.
Strong knowledge of infusion guidelines and pharmacy regulations.
Ability to lead, train, and develop a high-performing pharmacy team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Active pharmacist license with the state board of pharmacy.
Work Environment and Expectations:
Full-time leadership role in a well-lit, fast-paced pharmacy setting.
Requires standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
Exposure to pharmacy-related materials and compliance responsibilities.
Participation in compliance programs, audits, and inspections as needed.
