Job Title: Pharmacist (Part-Time)

Location: Memphis, TN

About the Role

Maxor National Pharmacy Services, LLC is seeking a part-time Pharmacist to join a clinic-based pharmacy at the Friends For All Community Health Center in Memphis, TN. You’ll work approximately 8 hours per week (Monday and Tuesday, 8 AM–12 PM) and collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.

This is a unique opportunity to make a difference by serving a community-focused mission to prevent and manage HIV/AIDS while being part of a dynamic, patient-centered care model.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret and fill drug orders, dispense prescriptions, and prepare compounds/I.V. admixtures.
Provide patient counseling and drug information to healthcare professionals and patients.
Supervise pharmacy technicians and assist with inventory management.
Monitor drug therapy for contraindications, interactions, and allergies.
Act as an alternate Pharmacy Manager when required.
Ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.
Maintain medication records and controlled substance inventory as per regulations.
Participate in team meetings, orientation programs, and educational initiatives.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or Pharm. D. from an accredited school of pharmacy.
Must hold a valid Tennessee pharmacist license.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a practicing pharmacist (preferred).

Skills:

In-depth knowledge of drugs, dosing, contraindications, and administration.
Strong communication skills to convey technical information effectively.
Ability to supervise and train pharmacy staff.
Familiarity with pharmaceutical policies, regulations, and accreditation requirements.
Proficiency in using computers and pharmacy-related software.
