Job Overview:

IQVIA is seeking an Investigator Payments Analyst to support the delivery of all required start-up contracting activities for selected sponsors, studies, or multi-protocol programs. The role involves pre-award activities and ensuring efficient contracting processes in compliance with sponsor and regulatory requirements.


Essential Functions:

  • Proposal Development & Grant Estimation:

    • Develop simple investigator grant estimates and proposal text to support the proposal development process.

    • Utilize and maintain contract and budget templates, contracting systems, tools, processes, and training materials.

  • Contract Management & Compliance:

    • Ensure collaboration and communication with sponsors, stakeholders, and RSU regions/countries to deliver the agreed project scope.

    • Provide specialist operational and financial contracting support to facilitate efficient business development and clinical trial initiation/maintenance.

    • Comply with contract management and quality standards.

  • Documentation & Intelligence Analysis:

    • Assist in the creation and/or review of core scientific, technical, and administrative documentation to support business development and enable study initiation and maintenance.

    • Contribute to the collection, interpretation, analysis, and dissemination of accurate contracting intelligence to support assigned studies and the wider company.

  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

    • Ensure overall contracting efficiency and adherence to project timelines and financial goals.

    • Report contracting performance metrics and out-of-scope contracting activities as required.

  • Operational & Administrative Support:

    • Provide administrative and operational support to investigator site contract analysts, managers, and directors as required.

    • Ensure accurate completion and maintenance of internal systems, including CTMS, databases, tracking tools, timelines, and project plans.


Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience, including demonstrable experience as a contract negotiator.

    • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is acceptable.

  • Skills & Expertise:

    • Strong negotiating and communication skills.

    • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as a team player.

    • Strong technical writing skills.

    • Understanding of the regulated clinical trial environment and knowledge of the drug development process.

    • Knowledge and application of GCP/ICH and applicable regulatory guidelines.

    • Familiarity with applicable regulatory requirements, SOPs, and Corporate Standards.

    • Good organizational and planning skills.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email applications.

    • Ability to interpret pricing models and prepare proposals, bid grids, and budgets.

    • Ability to work efficiently within a matrix team environment.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise independent judgment.
