Position Summary

As an Associate Investigator Grant Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the preparation, review, and finalization of global investigator grant budgets and payment terms. You will collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure timely and accurate site budget development, aligning with clinical trial activation timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Budget & Template Development

  • Assist in developing investigator grant budget grids for various countries and assigned studies.

  • Draft and prepare payment terms and conditions templates aligned with grant budgets.

  • Coordinate approvals and collect feedback for budget grids and payment schedules.

Client & Team Collaboration

  • Provide support for escalations related to budget development and negotiation parameters.

  • Communicate approved grant materials, processes, and negotiation parameters to local teams.

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with:

    • Internal PPD functional teams

    • Contract Specialists

    • Clients and third-party stakeholders

Operational Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal departments to align site startup activities with grant processes.

  • Ensure investigator budget negotiation timelines are aligned with site activation milestones.

  • Monitor and adhere to PPD’s target cycle times for site activations.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate documentation and perform regular tracking and reporting of grant-related activities.


Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification preferred.

  • Previous experience in clinical research, site budgeting, or grant management is advantageous.


Skills & Competencies

  • Knowledge of clinical trial processes and budgeting practices

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Comfortable working collaboratively across global and cross-functional teams
