Senior Data Analyst – HEOR (Oncology) | IQVIA

Salary Range: $88,300 - $220,900 per year (based on qualifications, location, and experience)


Job Summary

IQVIA is hiring a Senior Data Analyst – HEOR (Oncology) to join its Real World Evidence (RWE) Functional Service Provider (FSP) team. In this fully remote role, you will lead the development and analysis of real-world datasets for oncology-based health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) studies. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a background in oncology RWD, statistical programming, and HEOR methodologies who thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead dataset development and data cleaning using claims, EHR, and genomic data

  • Conduct HEOR analyses to support oncology economic models

  • Program and validate lines of therapy datasets for oncology studies

  • Create specifications and outputs for descriptive and complex statistical analyses

  • Select suitable internal RWD sources for study needs

  • Develop and quality check tables, figures, and listings (TFLs)

  • Collaborate on study documents such as protocols and statistical analysis plans

  • Communicate progress, timelines, and deliverables with project teams

  • Provide advanced programming and statistical expertise for complex studies


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • PhD in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Health Economics, or related field with 3+ years’ experience
    OR Master’s degree with 5–8 years’ relevant experience

  • Proven expertise in HEOR methodologies and real-world data analysis

  • Strong statistical programming experience in SAS, macros, and SQL

  • Oncology-specific RWD analysis experience

  • Background in CROs, client-facing roles, or pharmaceutical/biotech industries

  • Familiarity with developing and executing statistical analysis plans

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
