Job Description

IQVIA is seeking an Investigator Payments Analyst to support the delivery of all required start-up contracting activities for selected sponsors, studies, or multi-protocol programs. The Analyst will be responsible for developing investigator grant estimates, maintaining contract and budget templates, and ensuring collaboration across various stakeholders to meet sponsor requirements. This role involves providing operational and financial contracting support, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining accurate project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Support: Develop simple investigator grant estimates and proposal text to support proposal development.

  • Template Management: Utilize and maintain contract and budget templates, contracting systems, and training materials for selected sponsors and studies.

  • Collaboration: Communicate effectively with sponsors, stakeholders, and regions to ensure successful project scope delivery and compliance with sponsor requirements.

  • Financial and Operational Support: Provide operational and financial contracting support to ensure efficient business development and clinical trial initiation/maintenance.

  • Documentation: Assist in the creation and review of core scientific, technical, and administrative documentation to support business development.

  • Contract Intelligence: Contribute to the collection, interpretation, and dissemination of accurate contracting intelligence to support assigned studies.

  • Project Efficiency: Ensure contracting efficiency and adherence to timelines and financial goals, reporting performance metrics and out-of-scope activities.

  • Compliance: Comply with contract management and quality standards, ensuring accurate completion and maintenance of internal systems like CTMS, databases, and project plans.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Required).

  • Experience: 1 year of relevant experience, including contract negotiation experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Required).

  • Skills:

    • Good negotiating and communication skills.

    • Strong interpersonal skills and a team player.

    • Proficient in technical writing.

    • Understanding of the regulated clinical trial environment and drug development process.

    • Knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements.

    • Strong organizational, planning, and Microsoft Office skills.

    • Ability to interpret pricing models and prepare proposals, bid grids, and budgets.

    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, and sponsors.
