Role Overview

The Neuroscience Health & Science Professional (HSP) is responsible for:

  • Driving sales growth in the assigned territory.
  • Building relationships with healthcare providers and stakeholders.
  • Promoting Pfizer’s products through strategic engagement and leveraging digital tools.
    This role involves working both face-to-face and virtually, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Customer Engagement

  • Increase sales in the assigned territory.
  • Engage with healthcare providers (HCPs) both face-to-face and virtually.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers using digital tools and live interactions.

Strategic Business Planning

  • Develop and implement effective business and territory call plans.
  • Identify live/virtual engagement strategies to optimize customer relationships.
  • Use internal reports and analytics to identify and act on strategic business opportunities.

Educational Initiatives

  • Leverage disease state and product knowledge to educate HCPs on branded/unbranded product value.
  • Provide relevant patient resources to support HCP decision-making.

Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer needs.
  • Ensure all activities align with Pfizer’s business objectives and compliance standards.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time, including reporting and compliance documentation.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 2 years in one or more of the following; OR an associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience; OR high school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of experience:
      • Professional Sales or Promotional Activities.
      • Small Business Ownership or Entrepreneurial Roles.
      • Marketing, Customer Service, or Account Management.
      • Relevant Healthcare/Scientific roles (e.g., RN, Pharmacist, PT, OT).
      • Educator roles (e.g., Teacher, Principal).
      • Full-Time Military Service.
  • Must reside within 25 miles of the territory border.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel within the territory, including occasional overnight stays.

Nice-to-Have

  • 1+ year of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical sales.
  • Proven success in sales/marketing and strong territory management skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable disease states, therapeutic areas, and products.
  • Familiarity with customers and markets in the assigned territory.
  • Reside within the territory boundaries.

Work Details

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual Base Salary Range: $71,700 to $180,200.
  • Additional quarterly Sales Incentive Bonus.
