Role Purpose:

The Medical Engagement Associate supports the PSP team by enabling patient enrollment and ensuring adherence to prescribed therapy. The role also involves patient counseling, adverse event reporting, and operational coordination with internal and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Engagement & Therapy Adherence:

  • Counsel patients for improved health outcomes based on pre-defined touchpoints.

  • Connect with patients at regular intervals to ensure therapy adherence.

  • Track and manage compliance of patients enrolled in the program.

  • Empathize with patients and provide support by coordinating with stakeholders.

  • Record patient data accurately in the CRM tool according to brand requirements.

  • Handle patient queries using pre-defined FAQs.

  • Report adverse events or market complaints as per SOP.

  • Review and take approvals for financial deviations.

2. Operational & Program Support:

  • Capture Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) details using pre-defined templates within the designated TAT.

  • Participate in program-related training and on-the-job training regularly.

  • Report accurate data to managers on predefined timelines in a structured format.

  • Attend review calls/meetings with clients and internal leads.

  • Coordinate and execute small/medium-sized project tasks as assigned.

  • Participate in People Practices and receive feedback from clients and team members.

  • Ensure coordination with internal stakeholders for smooth program operations.

  • Manage email and call queries in line with SLA adherence.


Requirements:

Education:

  • B. Pharma, BSc, or any similar Life Science graduate

Experience:

  • 6 months to 1 year in patient counseling or related experience

Skills:

  • Working knowledge of MS Office

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English and vernacular languages

  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and in a team

  • Empathy and interpersonal skills for patient interactions
