About the Role:

Join Q2 Solutions, the laboratory business of IQVIA, as a Medical Laboratory Technician specializing in Hematology. This role involves conducting routine testing, ensuring data accuracy, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.

Shift: Tuesday – Saturday | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and document analytical testing procedures in compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.

  • Conduct routine data analysis; identify and escalate inconsistencies to senior laboratory personnel.

  • Prepare and upload analytical data into LIMS under supervision.

  • Support quality investigations, deviation management, and resolution activities.

  • Prepare laboratory reagents, buffers, and solutions as needed.

  • Guide and assist new or entry-level staff with routine tasks and onboarding processes.

  • Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and support training of lab personnel.

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with internal cross-functional teams.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, medical laboratory technology, or cytotechnology (required for some CAP/CLIA labs).

    • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 6 months experience in a regulated laboratory environment (preferred).

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in laboratory techniques, instrumentation, and safety protocols.

    • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel).


Skills & Competencies:

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data documentation.

  • Solid understanding of laboratory safety, infection control, and GLP standards.

  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills in a collaborative team environment.

  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs; frequent standing/walking and occasional sitting.

  • Ability to perform visual and fine-detail work; occasional exposure to cold environments.


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Pay Range (Annualized): $41,400 – $86,100 (varies by qualifications, experience, and location).

  • Additional compensation options may include incentives, bonuses, and other benefits.
