Overview

Positive Leaps is seeking a dedicated full-time Clinical Manager to provide appropriate clinical training for interns (discipline-specific) and therapists, and ongoing monitoring of established clinical staff. The role also includes maintaining a small caseload to provide services to clients and families, assisting the department with clinical practice monitoring, and supporting staff development. Additionally, this position provides a third tier of management to the Therapy Services Coordinator and Assistant Therapy Service Coordinator, ensuring a safe and effective therapeutic environment in alignment with Positive Leaps' mission.

Essential Duties:

  • Facilitate training and orientation for new hires and interns.
  • Assist Therapy Services Coordinators with staff development and training to maintain competencies.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, data gathering, and continuous quality improvement.
  • Monitor the quality of clinical assessments, evaluations, and therapeutic services through documentation review and consultation.
  • Ensure mental health services meet organizational, regulatory, and third-party payer standards.
  • Maintain a small caseload, providing mental health therapy services to families and children, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing care.
  • Keep timely and accurate documentation, accessible for supervisors, consumers, third-party payers, and court officials as needed.
  • Provide case management services as required.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to address staff and departmental needs.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of company policies and fidelity in research-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain clinical and administrative documentation.
  • Promote an environment of enthusiasm and commitment.
  • Uphold ethical standards set by professional boards and company policies.
  • Model professional behavior, demeanor, and organization.
  • Collaborate across departments to maintain ethical practices.
  • Provide training to external groups or sales support when required.
  • Offer after-hours telephonic support for crisis intervention one week per month.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or Clinical Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • Independent licensure in Ohio (LPCC/LISW).
  • Supervisor designation preferred; commitment to timely completion of supervisory hours required if not already obtained.
  • Experience working with children and families preferred; clinical counseling experience required.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in an active environment, including physical engagement and lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted.
  • Availability for after-hours crisis intervention discussions with Therapy Services Coordinators and Clinical Operations leadership.
  • Flexible scheduling, including evenings and on-call responsibilities.
