Job Description

As a Medical Scribe at Affinia Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clinic's administrative functions. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing and assembling medical records, recording patient documentation, and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and assemble medical record documentation and charts, including vaccine administration cards.
  • Record patient information and update health histories as instructed.
  • Monitor patients during the vaccine observation/screening process.
  • Ensure compliance with Affinia Healthcare policies, including HIPAA and Joint Commission regulations.
  • Perform additional clerical duties as assigned to enhance clinic productivity and workflow.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong administrative writing and reporting skills.
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
  • Accurate typing and effective verbal communication.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a medical or administrative role is a plus, but not required.
