Job Overview:

The Content Creator for Medical Publications & Education will be responsible for developing and supporting end-to-end publication and medical education content processes. This includes content creation, documentation, approval, and collaboration with various stakeholders. You will develop expertise in assigned therapeutic areas and contribute to best practices for content creation.


Main Responsibilities:

People Management:

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders in the global business unit and medical scientific community to ensure the development of relevant education and communication content.
  • Interact with healthcare professionals to ensure the creation of high-quality publication content.
  • Provide guidance to other writers by sharing knowledge and best practices for content development.

Performance:

  • Deliver high-quality publication and medical education materials, including slide decks, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, etc., as per agreed timelines.
  • Provide strategic support with individuals and institutions that may serve as resources for publications.

Process Management:

  • Develop complex publication/medical education materials as required.
  • Support medical communications and develop subject matter expertise in the assigned therapeutic area.
  • Assist the scientific communication team in conducting a comprehensive publication-need analysis.
  • Implement elements of the publication plan for the year and associated regional activities.
  • Collaborate with selected vendors to deliver required deliverables according to defined processes.
  • Continuously assess end-user feedback and improve course content and delivery.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work closely with regional scientific communication teams to identify publication needs and assist in developing deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, MSLs, and the medical department to prepare relevant and customized deliverables for assigned projects.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in content creation for the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry or academia.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of therapeutic areas and domain expertise.
  • Experience with publication submission and project management.

Education:

  • Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, a similar discipline, or a Medical degree.

Languages:

  • Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English.
