Position Title: Medical Information and Adverse Event Intake Specialist (Hungarian and English)

Position Overview

As a Medical Information and Adverse Event Intake Specialist, you will be at the forefront of Patient Safety. This key role involves direct communication with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and patients, ensuring the safety of pharmaceutical products. You will be responsible for managing medical inquiries, adverse events, and product quality complaints. This position can be performed home-based, hybrid, or office-based depending on your preference.


Key Responsibilities

  • Medical Information and Adverse Event Intake:

    • Provide phone support to healthcare professionals and consumers regarding adverse events, product quality complaints, medical inquiries, product support, and other needs (excluding commercial sales support).
    • Process and document safety data into lifecycle safety databases, ensuring quality control, accurate coding of medical terminology, and closure of cases.
    • Track and manage incoming calls and emails reporting safety data from investigative sites or other sources.
  • Team Collaboration and Leadership:

    • Foster a positive, collaborative environment with Lifecycle safety team members.
    • Mentor and provide training to less experienced team members, leading by example.
    • Provide feedback to the operations team manager and Customer Delivery Manager (CDM) on project metrics and challenges.
  • Project Management and Communication:

    • Liaise with Project Managers, proactively identifying issues and proposing solutions.
    • Provide technical support, reports, and metrics to managers, and assist with identifying changes in the scope of work (SOW) and potential change orders.
    • Participate in training and process initiatives, working towards efficiencies and improvements.

Qualifications

  • Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in a Life Science is required.
    • Fluency in Hungarian (C2/native level) and English (C1 minimum) is required.
    • Experience in Lifecycle Safety (Pharmacovigilance, CEVA, Medical Information, Safety Publishing, Risk Management) is an asset.
  • Skills and Abilities:

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and manage competing demands.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
