About the Role:
Indegene is seeking a Medical Information Manager to join our dynamic team. This individual will oversee the development, review, and optimization of medical communication materials. The Medical Information Manager will collaborate with both internal teams and clients to ensure the creation of medically accurate, scientifically rigorous, and compliant materials.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Medical Content Review & Development:

    • Review and ensure the medical accuracy, scientific rigor, and compliance of promotional and medical communication materials for various client products.

    • Develop and update content for various medical materials, conducting literature searches to identify supporting references.

  2. Content Creation & Auditing:

    • Develop and review content for deliverables, ensuring quality requirements are met within assigned timelines.

    • Track and audit assets for different purposes, ensuring alignment with client satisfaction metrics.

  3. Adherence to Best Practices:

    • Follow internal and external communication processes, project management, and technical requirements such as language, grammar, and referencing.

    • Participate in assigned training programs and contribute to assignments as required.

  4. Client Interaction & Project Management:

    • Participate in client calls as required by the project.

    • Ensure compliance with quality, confidentiality, and security standards, adhering to internal policies and specifications.


Required Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in the Medical Information domain, with familiarity in developing standard response letters and slide decks.

  • Strong understanding of medical writing, particularly for promotional and medical communication materials.

  • Proficient in managing content creation and ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex medical information clearly.

  • Passion for writing and keeping up with the latest scientific and technical developments.


Desired Qualifications:

  • MD/MDS/PhD (or experience), or MBBS with relevant experience.

  • 2-4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Understanding of a specialty area of medicine or an overall understanding of the medical field.

  • Client-oriented attitude with a focus on creating long-term relationships.

  • Skilled in problem identification and solving.
