Position Summary

The Medical Information Associate will support the Medical Information team by managing medical enquiries and identifying/reporting safety-related information in English during US working hours.


Key Responsibilities

Medical Information Handling

  • Provide approved, accurate responses to medical enquiries from US customers (HCPs, patients, pharma clients).

  • Handle incoming calls and enquiries professionally.

  • Document all inquiries completely in the Medical Information database.

Safety & Compliance

  • Identify, document, and report:

    • Adverse events / side effects

    • Product quality complaints

    • Pregnancies and special situations

  • Ensure reporting within required regulatory timelines.

  • Participate in 24/7 medical information service, if required.

  • Support inspection readiness activities for PV audits/inspections.

Operations & Support

  • Provide regular project status updates and enquiry metrics to management.

  • Ensure high-quality, compliant documentation and workflow management.


Qualifications

Education

  • Life science / biomedical degree (Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, Nursing, etc.)

Skills & Experience

  • Customer service or call centre experience preferred

  • Comfortable handling phone-based enquiries

  • Ability to work US shifts; willingness for occasional out-of-hours support

  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability

  • Excellent time and issue management skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities

  • Advanced English (spoken & written)
