Role Overview

The Medical Engagement Associate will work with the Patient Support Program (PSP) team to support patient enrollment and therapy adherence. The role requires patient counseling, data management, operational support, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

1. Patient Engagement & Counseling

  • Responsible for end-to-end engagement for the designated therapy area.

  • Counsel patients to improve health-related outcomes at predefined touchpoints.

  • Monitor patient adherence to prescribed therapy.

  • Track compliance of enrolled patients.

  • Handle patient queries and provide responses based on predefined FAQs.

  • Report adverse events and market complaints as per SOP.

  • Coordinate with other stakeholders to provide patient support.

  • Enter patient data accurately into the CRM tool.

  • Review and seek approval for financial deviations as needed.

  • Demonstrate empathy while engaging with patients.

2. Operational Responsibilities

  • Capture Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) details using predefined templates within designated TAT.

  • Provide accurate reporting to managers within structured timelines.

  • Attend review calls and meetings with clients and internal leads.

  • Execute small-to-medium project tasks as assigned.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

  • Adhere to SLA guidelines.

  • Participate in People Practices and ongoing training programs.

  • Demonstrate self-starting ability and effective teamwork.

  • Maintain effective communication in English and local vernacular.


Requirements

  • Experience: 6 months – 1 year in patient counseling or related roles.

  • Education: B. Pharma, BSc, or similar Life Sciences graduate.

  • Skills: Working knowledge of MS Office; strong oral and written communication.
