Job Summary

Medpace is seeking a Medical Director to join our dynamic team. The Medical Director will be responsible for providing medical, scientific, and strategic leadership in the planning, execution, and reporting of clinical trials. As Medpace's internal medical expert, this role will serve as a key resource for the review, presentation, and interpretation of results in Clinical Study Reports. The Medical Director will also play an active role in the development of new clinical projects, including study design, protocol development, and project plans.

  • Cardiology (adult)
  • Gastroenterology
  • Endocrinology
  • Radiology
  • Infectious Disease
  • Immunology
  • Nephrology
  • Neurology
  • Psychiatry

Responsibilities

  • Provide medical management and expertise for clinical trials.
  • Contribute medical expertise to study reports, regulatory documents, and manuscripts.
  • Manage safety issues in clinical trials and collaborate with associates in evaluating and assessing the trials.
  • Participate in new business development through involvement in proposal and sponsor meetings as requested.
  • Coordinate with other departments in all phases of the studies and trials, including feasibility assessments, study design, educational efforts, medical information management, and reviewing/editing medical documents.
  • Ensure strict adherence to research-related protocols and policies.

Qualifications

  • M.D. with board certification and current medical licensure.
  • Prior clinical trial research experience is required.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical-related clinical research is preferred.
  • Travel: Up to 20%
