📌 Job Overview

Fortrea is seeking a Medical Contact Center Assistant for a dynamic, remote role within a global CRO environment.
If you have a healthcare background, fluent English + French (C1+), and can work 3 PM – 12 AM CET, this role is an ideal fit.


🧪 Key Responsibilities

Medical Information & Query Handling

  • Respond to medical information queries, product quality complaints, and general inquiries received via:

    • Telephone

    • Email

    • Fax

    • Other communication channels

Pharmacovigilance Support

  • Receive, document, and report Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs) within regulatory and internal SOP timelines.

  • Support safety reporting activities as required.

Operations & Process Support

  • Track various datasets and operational metrics.

  • Perform ongoing quality checks (QC) on defined process steps.

  • Participate in reconciliation of data from multiple sources.

  • Provide support for assigned training activities.

  • Complete any additional tasks assigned by leadership.


🎓 Qualifications (Minimum Required)

Educational Paths

You may qualify through any one of the following:

  • Non-degree + 3–4 years relevant experience (or 1 year safety experience)

  • Associate degree + 2–3 years relevant experience (or 1 year safety experience)

  • BS/BA degree

  • MA/MS/PharmD

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in:

    • Pharmacy

    • Life Sciences

    • Medical Science

    • Other related healthcare areas

Fortrea may consider equivalent relevant experience in place of formal education.

Definition of Experience

  • Safety experience includes:

    • Processing AE/SAE reports

    • Narrative writing

    • Handling regulatory submissions

    • Working in safety databases

  • Relevant experience includes roles in:

    • Medical Affairs

    • Clinical Data Entry / Data Management

    • Clinical Data Monitoring

    • Regulatory Affairs

    • Quality Assurance

    • Pharmaceutical / Biotechnology / CRO industry

Language Requirement

  • French proficiency at C1 or higher is mandatory (strict requirement).

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • Good understanding of:

    • Regulatory requirements

    • Good Pharmacovigilance Practices (GVP)

    • ICH-GCP guidelines
