We are seeking a Medical Director to provide medical leadership and strategic direction to Teva UK and Ireland teams. This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-performing team and make an impact across multiple therapy areas.


Key Responsibilities

As the Medical Director, you will:

  • Lead, inspire, and manage a high-performing medical team, with budgetary oversight for medical cost centers.

  • Develop and execute long-term strategy, manage end-to-end processes, and drive governance for high-quality outcomes.

  • Provide technical input for project evaluations, due diligence, and potential product launches.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, commercial, and other teams to support business objectives.

  • Serve as the final Medical Signatory, ensuring compliance with ABPI/IPHA codes, Human Medicines Regulations 2012, and other relevant guidelines.

  • Represent the Medical Affairs team in UK, Ireland, EU, and global meetings, engaging with stakeholders and driving communication.

  • Manage compliance and promotional material approvals, adhering to regulations and providing strategic guidance to medical and marketing teams.

  • Act as a key leader in change management and transformation initiatives within the organization.

  • Deputize for the Cluster Lead UK & Ireland Medical on the EU Medical Leadership Team when needed.


Who We’re Looking For

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A qualified physician with experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Demonstrated Final Medical Signatory expertise.

  • In-depth understanding of the NHS, including prior NHS work experience.

  • Strong knowledge of neurology (preferred) and medicinal product regulations, advertising standards, and the ABPI Code of Practice.

  • Proven track record in strategic leadership, thought leadership, and collaboration within a global matrix organization.

  • Extensive change management and transformation experience.

Skills and Attributes:

  • A strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.

  • Ability to manage complex projects and processes in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
