Position Summary

The Manager – Quality & Testing will lead and manage the test automation team, overseeing the development and implementation of testing strategies and frameworks. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robust test coverage, improve testing processes, and deliver high-quality software solutions aligned with business objectives.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the test automation team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

  • Design and implement automation strategies using tools such as Selenium, Tosca, and API testing tools.

  • Collaborate with development, product management, and QA teams for comprehensive test coverage.

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing using Java and Python.

  • Analyze test results and provide actionable insights and reports to stakeholders.

  • Continuously optimize test processes, tools, and methodologies.

  • Keep abreast of industry best practices and trends in software testing and automation.

  • Manage testing resources, schedules, and budgets efficiently.

  • Facilitate internal training and knowledge-sharing initiatives for testing teams.


Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

  • Equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.

Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in software/system quality and testing.

  • Minimum 2+ years in a managerial role, preferably in Computer System Validation (CSV) or software testing.


Preferred Certifications

  • Certified Associate in Software Testing

  • Computer System Validation Professional Certification

  • Software Validation Assurance (SVA) Professional Certification

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
