The Manager – Clinical Data Innovation plays a strategic role in driving data-driven decision-making, accelerating drug discovery initiatives, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This position focuses on leveraging Master Data Management (MDM) to centralize, maintain, and optimize regulatory and clinical data. The role also manages the integration and governance of clinical data across multiple systems and clinical trial stages.
This role involves collaboration with DigitalX professionals, data owners, and data consumers to establish robust data exchange frameworks, maintain system integrity, and implement innovative data solutions that align with business and regulatory objectives.
Develop and maintain architecture strategies for managing and transferring clinical trial data from collection to regulatory submission.
Implement innovative MDM solutions and data quality frameworks (e.g., Reltio, Talend, Databricks) to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
Oversee data quality (DQ) business rules, analysis, and remediation activities, tracking violations and ensuring resolution.
Provide technical guidance and support for users, system integrations, and workflow automation.
Design and maintain scalable architectures for tracking product and clinical data, including APIs, interfaces, and middleware solutions.
Manage system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations, coordinating with vendors and service providers as needed.
Participate in Agile activities using tools like Azure DevOps Services, contributing to backlog grooming and sprint planning.
Monitor industry guidelines, including IDMP compliance, and recommend new tools or practices to enhance data management processes.
Collaborate across global teams to ensure seamless clinical data integration and adherence to governance and security standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Quality, or clinical data systems within the healthcare or life sciences industry.
Expertise in Reltio configuration, including entity types, attributes, matching rules, operational values, hierarchies, and user interface.
Strong understanding of clinical data systems and regulatory requirements.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Experience with cloud-based platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Proficiency in SQL and data quality tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica Data Quality, Databricks).
Knowledge of data stewardship, governance principles, and security practices.
Hands-on experience with system design, implementation, upgrades, or integrations in the Life Sciences domain.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management best practices.
Demonstrated leadership skills, including guiding technical teams and influencing architectural decisions.
