Job Title: Manager – Statistical Programming

Parexel, a leading global Contract Research Organization (CRO), is seeking a Manager in Statistical Programming to lead and oversee programming teams supporting clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas. This role ensures high-quality, timely delivery of statistical outputs, compliance with project requirements, and development of team members, while directly contributing to client satisfaction and organizational growth.
Manage, mentor, and develop a team of statistical programmers to ensure project deliverables are completed on time and meet quality standards.
Allocate resources, assign tasks, and monitor staff productivity, billability, and quality metrics.
Review and approve statistical programming deliverables, including outputs for clinical trials, ensuring compliance with protocols and sponsor expectations.
Participate in client engagements, project bids, and presentations, ensuring Parexel meets client objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, data managers, and clinical operations to optimize project execution.
Maintain accurate project documentation and facilitate effective communication with sponsors and internal stakeholders.
Lead initiatives for process improvement, team efficiency, and training of junior staff.
Serve as a role model by demonstrating leadership in departmental activities, performance management, and organizational standards.
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Biological Sciences, Pharmacy, or related health discipline; relevant clinical or business equivalent considered.
Substantial experience in clinical data management, statistical programming, or clinical research.
Proven ability to manage and motivate global/virtual teams.
Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and statistical programming software.
Competence in English (written and oral) and local languages as required.
