Logistics Analyst – Clinical Supplies (Thane, India)

Job Summary:

IQVIA is hiring a Logistics Analyst to support the compliant shipment of clinical trial supplies locally and internationally. The role involves managing courier relationships, ensuring documentation accuracy, and overseeing global logistics processes. This is an excellent opportunity for logistics professionals in the pharmaceutical and clinical research domain to work with a globally respected CRO.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee shipping operations to ensure compliance with global customs, courier, and regulatory guidelines.

  • Collaborate with Project Management on shipping documentation, kit content planning, and shipment schedules.

  • Coordinate special courier arrangements and troubleshoot logistics system issues.

  • Prepare international shipping documents including commercial invoices and air bills.

  • Monitor inventory levels of courier materials and maintain minimum operating stock levels.

  • Train new staff on logistics and courier systems.

  • Track and trace global shipments, ensuring timely delivery.

  • Archive quality data and manage logistics records.

  • Maintain current knowledge of global import/export and dangerous goods regulations.

  • Support process improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; higher education is a plus.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain, preferably in the healthcare or clinical research domain.

  • Good understanding of import/export regulations.

  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with courier systems and quality control procedures is a plus.
