Job Title: Lead Clinical Pharmacist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Lead Clinical Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team in Seaside, Oregon. In this role, you will collaborate with peer pharmacists and healthcare team members to deliver accurate, safe, and efficient pharmacy services. You will provide oversight of pharmacists and technicians, coordinate staffing, and manage specialized areas within the pharmacy, including central unit dose, IV room, or satellite pharmacy. This position offers an opportunity to further develop leadership skills in preparation for future pharmacy leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the pharmacy management team in coordinating daily operations and activities.
  • Provide oversight of pharmacy staff, ensuring effective staffing and workload management.
  • Lead the provision of cost-effective, efficient, and safe pharmacy services.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
  • Supervise specialty areas of pharmacy operations, such as central unit dose or IV room.
  • Promote a team-oriented environment that reflects the hospital's mission and philosophy.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
  • Active Oregon Pharmacist License upon hire.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant practice experience or PGY1 with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Training in Process Improvement methods such as Six Sigma, LEAN, or CAP tools.
  • 1 year of leadership experience.
