Lead Clinical Pharmacist – Full-Time/Day Shift
Relocation Available for Qualified Candidates

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Clinical Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. As a Lead Clinical Pharmacist, you will assist in coordinating the daily operations and activities of the Pharmacy, providing oversight of pharmacists and technicians involved in pharmacy operations. You will collaborate with fellow pharmacists and other healthcare team members to ensure the accurate, safe, efficient, and cost-effective provision of pharmacy services. This leadership role will offer you the opportunity to develop your skills for future pharmacy leadership positions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the integrated provision of pharmacy services, ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency.
  • Supervise and coordinate staffing based on workload and availability.
  • Oversee specialized areas within the pharmacy such as central unit dose, IV room, or satellite pharmacy.
  • Collaborate with peer pharmacists and healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
  • Foster a team-oriented environment that reflects the mission and values of the hospital.
  • Take on leadership duties, developing the necessary skills for future pharmacy management roles.

Required Qualifications:

  • PharmD or BS in Pharmacy.
  • Active Oregon Pharmacist License upon hire.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant practice experience, or PGY1 with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Training in Process Improvement methods such as Six Sigma, LEAN, and CAP tools.
  • At least 1 year of leadership experience in a pharmacy setting.

Skills and Certifications:

  • Oregon Pharmacist License upon hire.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant practice experience or PGY1 with at least 2 years of experience.
  • PharmD or BS in Pharmacy.
