Job Title: Manufacturing Technician (Pharmaceutical)

What You Will Achieve:

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring the basic functioning needs of the production equipment. This includes ensuring that processes such as line speed, product feeding, and material handling are carried out in accordance with SOPs, cGMPs, and plant quality and safety standards.

You will utilize your knowledge and prior experience to adapt and improve standard procedures, working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. You will also assist in training others, reinforcing behaviors that help achieve Pfizer's mission of delivering exceptional healthcare.


How You Will Achieve It:

  • Operational Support:

    • Monitor and respond to the functional needs of area equipment (e.g., line speed, feeding product, line clearances).

    • Manage loading/unloading of materials and ensure cleanliness and proper line clearances.

  • Process Optimization:

    • Establish efficient processes, monitor results, and continuously improve processes using Right First Time and Lean principles.

    • Identify process opportunities and implement corrective actions to improve production efficiency.

  • Documentation & Reporting:

    • Enter data into the Process Control System (PLS) to ensure accurate and complete training documentation.

    • Perform detailed inspections of commodities to ensure compliance with production standards.

  • Training & Development:

    • Work with unit leadership to identify training gaps and assist in the development of action plans.

    • Assist in training others and ensure they follow established procedures to maintain safety and quality standards.

  • Problem-Solving & Decision-Making:

    • Develop solutions to routine problems in accordance with Pfizer policies and procedures.

    • Prioritize your workflow and allocate work to others to ensure smooth production processes.


Qualifications:

Must-Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.

  • Valid SCHS License.

  • 0-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or related environment.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining focus.

  • Ability to understand and follow written procedures and work both independently and in groups.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Yellow Belt certification in Lean.

  • Experience in pharmaceutical packaging and manufacturing.
