Position Overview:
The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is seeking a full-time faculty physician to join the Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. As a leader in medical education and cutting-edge clinical care, this position offers the opportunity to work alongside a diverse group of specialists while providing high-level care to patients in the southwestern Ohio region. The division is part of UC Health, which serves as the region's sole academic health system. The successful candidate will be involved in education, clinical care, and surgical procedures, contributing to the department's mission of advancing patient care and resident education.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses and seminars.
  • Participate in meetings, governance, and curriculum development.
  • Serve as an academic advisor and supervise student coursework.
  • Participate in department committees and contribute to curriculum activities.
  • Engage in clinical and academic duties, including providing patient care, surgical support, and clinical consultations.
  • Participate in resident education, conferences, and the operation room.
  • Provide service to both the academic and broader community.

Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted Ohio Medical license.
  • MD or equivalent degree in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
  • Completion of residency in Plastic Surgery.
  • Fellowship training in hand, burn, microvascular, or craniofacial surgery is a plus.
  • Excellent clinical skills and a commitment to serving underserved populations.
