Role Overview:

The Director, Omnichannel Analytics will lead cross-functional teams to deliver omnichannel reporting and insights for pharmaceutical clients. The role focuses on digital channels, translating brand objectives into measurable KPIs, and providing actionable insights to inform both tactical and strategic decision-making.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Delivery & Analytics

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver omnichannel reporting and insights, focusing on digital channels.

  • Develop measurement frameworks by translating brand objectives into measurable KPIs, ensuring alignment and consistency across brands and business units.

  • Oversee omnichannel dashboard enhancements and ongoing maintenance; gather client requirements and leverage AI for automation.

  • Deliver monthly and quarterly performance reports highlighting trends and insights to drive campaign optimization.

  • Collaborate with analytics teams and clients to recommend experiments and A/B tests.

  • Support media agencies and AORs in measurement planning, resolving data discrepancies, and implementing tactical recommendations.

  • Ensure compliance with client procedures and regulations, with proper documentation and approvals.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key pharmaceutical client stakeholders.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client interactions and ensure alignment of reporting, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses with client objectives.

  • Share industry insights, best practices, and innovative solutions to challenge conventional approaches where appropriate.

3. Team Leadership & Project Management

  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts and consultants, driving high performance and professional development.

  • Build internal digital education and training programs for team members.

  • Oversee the execution of digital analytics projects from inception to delivery, ensuring alignment with client expectations, timelines, and quality standards.

  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts within the team and across departments to address complex client challenges.

4. Business Development & Growth

  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to proposals, presentations, and pitches.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define the strategic direction for the Pharma Commercial Analytics practice.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to enhance client value.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • 12+ years of experience in digital and omnichannel analytics/insights.

  • 5+ years of experience in life sciences or pharma industry.

  • 5+ years of team management experience.

  • Strong understanding of paid media strategies, tactics, measurement, and data; media agency experience is a plus.

  • Experience analyzing website performance and UI/UX optimization.


Must-Have Skills & Competencies:

  • Expertise in translating digital marketing goals into measurable KPIs and metrics.

  • Understanding of digital data processing and KPI/metric alignment.

  • Proficiency in delivering monthly omnichannel reporting and insights for performance optimization.

  • Strong client relationship management and stakeholder communication skills.

  • Ability to frame business issues, design solutions, and deliver results.

  • Experience with Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics.

  • Proficiency in media platforms & data: MCI/Datorama, PLD/NPI Activity Data, DCM, SA360, HCP365, AIMXR, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok.

  • Proficiency in Power BI and Co-pilot.

  • Comfortable with CRM platforms such as Veeva and SFMC.
