Job Overview:

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will drive HR initiatives, aligning with business strategies and operational priorities. This role serves as a trusted advisor to management, ensuring compliance with HR policies and labor laws while fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

πŸ” HR Strategy & Employee Relations
βœ” Partner with business operations to address HR issues and implement policies
βœ” Interpret and resolve employee relations matters, including investigations
βœ” Counsel management on performance, discipline, and terminations
βœ” Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies

πŸ’Ό Training & Organizational Development
βœ” Coach and train employees and managers for performance improvement
βœ” Design organizational strategies for operational efficiency
βœ” Oversee Learning Management System (LMS) administration
βœ” Manage NY State HR training grant programs

πŸ‘₯ Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
βœ” Review resumes, conduct interviews, and recommend candidates
βœ” Assist with staffing plans and collaborate with external agencies
βœ” Ensure fair and compliant hiring and promotion practices

πŸ’Ž Compensation, Benefits & HRIS
βœ” Recommend salary offers and promotions
βœ” Maintain HRIS systems for personnel data and transactions
βœ” Guide employees on benefits, leave, and accommodations
βœ” Identify trends to enhance employee well-being and retention

πŸ’ͺ HR Leadership & Special Projects
βœ” Act as a backup to the Head of HR
βœ” Lead HR initiatives and business improvement projects
βœ” Collaborate with external partners and community organizations

Required Qualifications:

πŸŽ“ Education:
βœ” Bachelor's in Human Resources or related field (Master’s preferred)
βœ” SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred

πŸ”§ Experience & Skills:
βœ” 5+ years of HR, training, and talent development experience
βœ” Manufacturing or R&D facility experience preferred
βœ” Proficiency in SAP SuccessFactors HCM, Concur, Microsoft Office
βœ” Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws
βœ” Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
βœ” Ability to work across diverse cultures and teams
βœ” Strong interpersonal, coaching, and problem-solving skills
