Position Overview
Clarivate Analytics is seeking a curious, creative, detail-oriented Analyst with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. In this role, you will collaborate with a team of data scientists to analyze and interpret three major U.S. healthcare datasets—hospital purchasing, hospital claims, and electronic health records (EHR).
This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with leading MedTech companies, transforming complex real-world datasets into meaningful insights that drive strategic decision-making.
About You – Experience, Education, Skills & Accomplishments
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience working with large datasets using SQL.
Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis using Python or R.
Educational background in Engineering (B.E.) or B. Pharmacy, preferably in:
Biotechnology
Medical Electronics
Pharmacy
Proficiency in MS SQL and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Strong expertise in data handling, cleaning, and manipulation.
Ability to connect insights across complex datasets and identify patterns.
Experience working on healthcare or life sciences domain projects.
Solid understanding of statistical methods and data interpretation.
Proven ability to manage short-term and long-term projects independently.
Skilled in secondary research and synthesizing relevant findings.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with U.S. MedTech and healthcare markets.
Experience working with claims or pharmacy data.
Exposure to data from external vendors and healthcare data standards.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with clients—including Fortune 500 companies and startups—to understand challenges and deliver tailored data-driven solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain processes for analyzing structured and unstructured big data.
Develop algorithms and automated workflows to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large healthcare datasets.
Conduct data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Identify data trends, anomalies, and insights for market forecasting and analysis.
Communicate complex findings to stakeholders through presentations and reports.
Identify opportunities to enhance products, data models, and analytics strategies within Clarivate’s MedTech ecosystem.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of data workflows and customer satisfaction initiatives.
About the Team
You will be part of a dynamic data science team within Clarivate’s Life Sciences & Healthcare division, working on cutting-edge research and data integration for the U.S. medical devices and healthcare markets.
