Overview
Clarivate is seeking a curious, detail-oriented, and data-driven Analyst to join our MedTech Data team. This role involves data analysis, market research (primary and secondary), competitive intelligence, forecasting, and custom consulting within the medical devices and healthcare sectors.
You will work with complex, real-world healthcare datasets to uncover actionable insights that support strategic decisions for leading medical device companies.

About You — Experience, Education & Skills
Required:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Medical Electronics, Pharmacy, or related field.
Hands-on experience handling large datasets using SQL or Python.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong skills in data presentation and reporting.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Proven capacity to meet tight deadlines and articulate complex insights clearly.
Collaborative mindset with experience working in cross-functional teams (product managers, analysts, subject matter experts).
Strong problem-solving and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Preferred:
Experience in data wrangling, KPI reporting, or healthcare/life sciences analytics.
Ability to interpret and connect insights across multiple datasets.
Knowledge of data analysis tools/languages such as R or Python.
Strong storytelling and presentation skills to convey quantitative insights effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Data & Market Research
Build, clean, and manage multiple datasets for market modeling and analysis.
Conduct primary and secondary research, including surveys and interviews.
Analyse and interpret data to identify market trends and strategic insights.
Resolve data inconsistencies and maintain product/SKU catalogues.
Client Collaboration & Reporting
Understand customer requirements and deliver custom data solutions.
Present key findings and insights to internal and external stakeholders.
Support custom client requests and contribute to ongoing projects.
Strategic Development
Research emerging device markets, competitive landscapes, and innovations.
Identify opportunities for data-driven decision-making and process improvement.
Collaborate with product and data teams to enhance Clarivate’s data models and strategy.
