Clarivate Analytics is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and collaborative Healthcare Research & Data Analyst to join our team in Bangalore. This role offers the opportunity to work with large-scale, complex datasets and gain hands-on exposure to the US healthcare market, including hospital purchasing, hospital claims, and electronic health records (EHR). Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and business analysts, to understand Clarivate customer needs and provide actionable insights.

  • Design, develop, and maintain processes and systems to analyze structured and unstructured “big data” from multiple sources, with a focus on US MedTech markets.

  • Develop and implement software programs, algorithms, and automated workflows to clean, integrate, and evaluate large datasets.

  • Evaluate and validate data outputs, proactively identifying potential inconsistencies or errors.

  • Apply statistical methods to analyze trends and patterns in healthcare data.

  • Conduct secondary research and synthesize findings to support business decisions.

  • Contribute to product evolution, data models, and the company’s data strategy.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in SQL and 2 years in data analysis tools such as Python or R.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Biotechnology, Medical Electronics) or B. Pharmacy.

  • Proven experience in handling large datasets, data wrangling, and statistical analysis.

  • Strong proficiency in MS SQL, MS Office, and advanced Excel skills.

  • Expertise in healthcare or life sciences domain projects, including understanding data variables and connecting insights across datasets.

  • Experience managing short- and long-term projects end-to-end.


Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Familiarity with US healthcare, MedTech data, claims, or pharmacy datasets.

  • Exposure to data from vendors or third-party sources.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate complex findings effectively.


Working Hours & Location

  • Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India (Hybrid)

  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 12 PM – 9 PM IST
