Internship Overview
Cencora is seeking a dedicated Summer Health and Safety Intern to support our Corporate Health and Safety Manager in advancing safety initiatives across our distribution operations. This internship offers hands-on experience in health, safety, and environmental (EHS) practices, with exposure to auditing, compliance, training, and safety project implementation.

Internship Dates: June 8, 2026 – August 14, 2026
Location Options:

  • Roanoke, TX

  • Raleigh, NC

  • Whitestown, IN

  • Bethlehem, PA or Conshohocken, PA

This role is ideal for students passionate about health and safety, eager to gain real-world experience, and looking to contribute to a culture of safety and well-being in a global healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of health and safety projects, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.

  • Collaborate with distribution centers to evaluate and enhance safety practices.

  • Support audits and inspections, develop training materials, and participate in employee engagement initiatives.

  • Promote proactive safety behaviors and contribute to a culture of well-being across the organization.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Minimum Skills and Competencies

  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong initiative.

  • Leadership experience in academic, extracurricular, or project settings.

  • Ability to operate effectively in unstructured environments and make timely decisions.
