Group Brand Manager – Pharmaceutical Marketing | Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Mumbai

Job Summary:

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories is hiring a Group Brand Manager in Mumbai to lead pharmaceutical product marketing and management. This role involves driving product conceptualization, launch planning, branding, promotional strategies, and market development to meet revenue and market share targets. The ideal candidate should have 7–10 years of experience in product management within the Indian pharmaceutical sector and demonstrate strong leadership, strategic thinking, and market analysis abilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new product concepts by gathering market intelligence and unmet therapeutic needs.

  • Prepare product launch strategies, manuals, and positioning plans.

  • Oversee post-launch performance reviews and corrective actions.

  • Drive brand building and promotional activities through market research and advertising collaborations.

  • Plan and execute Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs to build strong relationships with healthcare professionals.

  • Lead and mentor the product management team, handle performance appraisals and support talent development.

  • Formulate region-specific sales strategies in coordination with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs).


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate in any Science stream; MBA (preferred).

  • Experience: 7–10 years in Pharmaceutical Product Management.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong understanding of the Indian pharmaceutical market.

    • Strategic thinking and product portfolio management.

    • Proficiency in market trend analysis and competitor tracking.

    • Budget planning and financial management.

    • Excellent communication and scientific interpretation skills.

  • Behavioral Skills:

    • Proactive and visionary mindset.

    • Effective people leadership and team development.

    • Change management and adaptability.

    • Decision-making with a strategic orientation.
