Role Overview

The Group Product Manager – Nutrition will lead the strategy, execution, and performance of Sun Pharma’s nutrition portfolio in emerging markets. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong product management background, excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, and a deep understanding of regulatory and market dynamics in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.

As GPM, you will drive market growth, brand positioning, and commercialization strategies, ensuring that all marketing initiatives align with global standards and local regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Develop and implement annual and long-term marketing strategies for assigned brands, including market segmentation, targeting, and positioning.

  • Lead Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies for new product launches in collaboration with Medical, Regulatory, and Sales teams.

  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights to identify opportunities, risks, and trends.

Product & Portfolio Management:

  • Act as the market expert for assigned products, understanding molecular specifications, clinical applications, and unique selling propositions (USPs).

  • Develop marketing collateral including brochures, presentations, digital content, case studies, and sales training materials.

  • Collaborate with Clinical and Medical Affairs to generate evidence-based product claims and value propositions.

  • Monitor product performance and gather market feedback to refine strategies for portfolio optimization.

Sales & Channel Support:

  • Partner with regional and country sales teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with business objectives.

  • Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate campaign effectiveness and make data-driven adjustments.

  • Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and participate in relevant conferences, trade shows, and clinical events.

Regulatory & Compliance:

  • Ensure all marketing materials and digital content comply with global and local regulations, industry guidelines, and company policies.

  • Liaise with Regulatory Affairs and Legal teams to obtain approvals for all external-facing content.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the annual marketing budget, optimizing resources for maximum impact.


Educational & Professional Requirements

  • Education: Graduate degree in any science discipline; Master’s in Marketing, Communication, or MBA preferred.

  • Experience: 8–10 years in pharmaceutical product management, with demonstrable experience in brand strategy, GTM execution, and portfolio management in emerging markets.

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, marketing practices, and pharmaceutical industry standards.
