Position Summary

The Product Specialist - Trauma is responsible for managing the trauma product portfolio, driving market strategy, supporting commercial enablement, and ensuring successful execution of product-related activities. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, account management, and engagement with key opinion leaders to ensure product relevance and growth.


Principal Responsibilities

1. Market Strategy

  • Analyze market trends and prepare lead trackers for instrumentation across different channels.

  • Identify the right products for target customers.

2. Commercial Enablement

  • Develop and deliver product training, sales tools, and clinical education materials for internal teams and external customers.

  • Support product launches, promotional campaigns, and field activities in collaboration with sales and marketing teams.

  • Provide technical expertise during customer interactions, workshops, and conferences.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with commercial education, professional education, supply chain, finance, and other partners to ensure timely execution.

  • Act as the voice of the customer in internal discussions to ensure product relevance and differentiation.

4. Account Management

  • Develop and monitor customer funnel based on identified leads.

  • Conduct regular reviews with the sales team to ensure progression of the customer funnel.

  • Engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs), surgeons, and clinical stakeholders to gather insights and validate product positioning.

  • Own top-10 accounts and drive end-to-end execution.


Qualifications & Preferred Skills

  • Master’s degree preferred.

  • More than 3 years of experience in orthopedics.

  • Experience in product management preferred.

  • Strong understanding of fracture fixation principles and surgical workflows.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to travel as required (domestic and international)
