About the Role

Lupin is seeking a dynamic and strategic Manager – Product to lead brand management initiatives for its Cardiology and Anti-Diabetes portfolio. This position plays a critical role in driving market growth, brand positioning, product launches, and profitability within highly competitive chronic therapy segments.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in pharmaceutical product management, brand strategy, new product launch planning, sales force training, and financial performance monitoring, along with the ability to execute integrated marketing strategies across traditional and digital channels.


Experience Required

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Product Management

  • Proven experience in:

    • Brand planning and execution

    • New product launch management

    • Chronic therapy segments (Cardiology / Anti-Diabetes preferred)

  • Experience working in an MNC pharmaceutical organization will be an advantage

  • Exposure to digital marketing strategies is preferred


Educational Qualification

  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Management (MBA in Marketing preferred)


Key Responsibilities

Brand Management & Strategy

  • Lead overall brand management for assigned cardiology and anti-diabetes products

  • Identify key market issues and growth opportunities

  • Design strategic brand elements including positioning, pricing, and promotional strategy

  • Develop tactical action plans aligned with business objectives

  • Drive market share growth and profitability

Product Launch & Development

  • Manage new product launch activities end-to-end

  • Develop comprehensive launch plans and go-to-market strategies

  • Conduct internal and external market analysis to support product decisions

  • Align product lifecycle strategies with business goals

Marketing Planning & Execution

  • Prepare robust annual and cycle brand plans

  • Monitor implementation and track performance against KPIs

  • Optimize campaign effectiveness within defined budgets

  • Ensure financial discipline and ROI-focused execution

Sales Force & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Train and align the sales team during cycle meetings

  • Lead brand communication at conferences and marketing events

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with medical, regulatory, and commercial teams

  • Manage internal and external stakeholders effectively

Digital & Analytical Focus

  • Leverage digital marketing channels to enhance brand reach

  • Utilize MS Excel and PowerPoint for business analysis, forecasting, and presentations
