Description:
In partnership with Sitero leadership, Clinical Operations, Marketing, and Commercial teams, we are seeking a proven leader to promote Sitero’s Biosafety and IRB service offerings globally. The Global Head, Research Compliance will drive cross-functional success in Biosafety consulting and training, IRB services and consulting, DSMB services, SCRO services, and IACUC services. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about research, innovation, and business development.

Job Overview:

  • Develop and execute Sitero’s Go-to-Market strategy for Biosafety Consulting, IBC Services, IRB Services, IRB Consulting, DSMB Services, SCRO Services, and IACUC Services.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Research Compliance.

  • Lead delivery and ensure compliance across Biosafety, IRB, DSMB, SCRO, and IACUC service lines.

  • Drive commercial strategies for the Research Compliance Unit.

  • Manage budget and financial planning for the Research Compliance Unit.

  • Lead and report Research Compliance metrics to senior leadership.

  • Build and expand the Research Compliance team to support business growth.

  • Develop operational processes for external Research Compliance services, leveraging available technologies.

  • Lead Research Compliance thought leadership initiatives, including Advisory Board participation, white papers, and webinars.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (required).

  • Master’s degree or higher in a science-related field (required).

  • Minimum of 10 years of Institutional Review Board (IRB) experience (required).

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to initiate and drive activities independently.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities effectively.

  • Team player with the ability to accept accountability and follow direction.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

  • Strong experience with sales databases such as Salesforce; ability to pipeline and cold call to generate new business.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to meet with customers and attend trade shows.

Commitments:

  • Standard working hours: 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday) with a one-hour lunch break.

  • Willingness to work additional hours and shifts as needed.
